We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic energy modelling specialist to join our team. Under the supervision of the EMH shared platform coordinator, you will be responsible for integrating energy models within an open-access platform, maintaining these models over time, deploying them for clients, documenting them, and preparing training material. You will play a key role in providing solutions and services based on reliable, up-to-date energy models.
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic open-data specialist for energy modelling to join our team. Your main responsibility will be to manage the open-data process for the EMH, while ensuring that the data necessary for energy modelling are collected, documented and optimally structured. You will also help to design and develop open databases, particularly the CODERS (Canadian Open-source Database for Energy Research and Systems Modelling) database and facilitate data access using APIs.
Under the guidance of the responsible managers of the Trottier Energy Institute (IET) and the Energy Modeling Hub (EMH), the sought-after individual assists them in fulfilling their mandates by participating in tasks related to the management of day-to-day operations, human resources, finances, materials, or any other specific matters related to the missions of the two organizations. In the absence of one of their superiors, they ensure the continuity and monitoring of certain operations.
